A A HANDICRAFT with the motive to promote and preserve traditional and religious artifacts, we the A A HANDICRAFT were established on the year 1983 (Registered under Nepal Government/ Dept. of Finance) as an autonomous and commercial organization. It was in 60’s that tourism started in Nepal but only from 80’s it got to flourish. At 1980 A.D. businessmen around the World also started coming to Nepal to collect handicrafts and Antique. Right then A A HANDICRAFT, which is probably the first wholesale Handicraft shop in Nepal at Freak Street (Hippy’s place in kathmandu), was set up by “ACHYUT ARYAL”. It has come down a long race to come on to the present position where it deals with hundreds of foreign and local Business parties. 5 years back (In 2001 A.D.) with new management it opened a well-maintained shop at Thamel Nursing chowk.

A A Handicraft intends to increase family participation in economic enterprises that give out various cottage Handicraft products. We are served up and facilitated from different regions, religious societies and under privilege community people. This co-existence with us is availing them of a regular income source to uplift their life.
