Since 1982 ActionAid have worked in Nepal to empower the poor and excluded members of society.

Our work over the years has undergone various changes, but our focus has always remained the same. To fight for the rights of those suffering at the hands of injustice and inequality, and give them the strength and power to hope for the future.

We wish to see an environment where people can live healthy and free lives, regardless of their race, colour, disability, HIV status or gender.

Education, food security and women’s rights are all things we believe in passionately, as we stand up for those that need it the most.
