Pokhara University has adopted internationally recognized evaluation and grading system. Students’ performance is evaluated in two phases internally by the concerned subject teacher and the college and externally by the office of the controller of examinations through semester end examination. A three hour exam is conducted by the university at the end of each semester carrying full marks of 100 converted to 50% weight for final evaluation. Students’ internal marks will be determined on the basis of their accomplishment in the following areas: class test, first term, qualifying examination, assignment, attendance, practical, presentation and projects.
