Bhanubhakta Memorial Higher Secondary School, established in 1967 AD to the blessed memory of the pioneer poet late Bhanubhakta Acharya – a renowned figure of Nepali literature, has come a long way since its modest beginning in a rented building 33 years back and aims at imparting quality education to the students at an affordable price in the capital city of Nepal. It has, today, three separate modern buildings of its own for primary, secondary and higher secondary wings. Besides, a boys’ hostel and a well-equipped science laboratory for practical classes. The higher secondary wing is a five storeyed building with 80 rooms. All these blocks possess specious, well-sized and well-ventilated rooms.
With about 1700 students and nearly 100 teachers, Bhanubhakta Memorial Higher Secondary School is one of the biggest private schools in the kingdom of Nepal, providing both educational as well as physical facilities to day scholars, day boarders and boarders who come from every corner of the kingdom.
