The Hotel Ganesh Himal is named after one of Nepal’s beautiful Mountains, Ganesh Himal (7130m.) and is just 30 minutes drive from International Airport and main bus station.
Our Hotel is located just between Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar (Palace) Square which are two of the most popular addresses for the travelers. Kathmandu’s Durbar Square is ten minutes walk to the south and the bustling tourist area of Thamel is at the same distance to the north. The famous Swoyambhunath Chaitya (Monkey Temple) is visible from the rooftop terrace of the Hotel and lies only half and hour walking distance away. The Ganesh Himal offers 30 comfortable cozy, single, double, and triple rooms in a friendly atmosphere. Each room has its own private bathroom with tub or shower, hot and cold water , multi channel colour TV, telephone etc. Each floor has a balcony and there is a lovely garden for relaxing.
